Dr Sally Wilson, BSc, PhD, FRSA, Head of Workplace Health and Wellbeing Research at IES, has more than twenty years’ experience of working with national and international policy organisations, NGOs and charities to explore what works to support good health in working-age adults. She is currently a co-lead on Project OSCAR, which aims to provide HSE with an evidence base to inform policy decisions and guidance to prevent and mitigate work-related stress.
She has also delivered and collaborated on research projects for EU-OSHA and the European Commission addressing psychosocial workplace risks. Prior to joining IES, Sally worked at the Health and Safety Laboratory, now part of HSE. Her academic background is in neuropsychology, and her PhD research was conducted in a clinical research setting.
