Introducing you to our new Five-Star Process Safety Management (PSM) Audit, an exciting step forward in safety management

British Safety Council's PSM Audit has been developed in collaboration with globally recognised Process Safety Management (PSM) expert Ian Travers.

Ian Travers

Ian offers unique insight into how regulators assess and verify risk management systems across the chemical, oil, gas and wider major hazard industries. Since moving into the private sector in 2015, he has worked with organisations in the energy, chemical and fuel sectors to strengthen their risk management and asset integrity practices.

British Safety Council’s unique Five Star Audit model draws upon extensive international industry experience and integrates elements of internationally accepted PSM standards.

This robust framework objectively evaluates process safety management systems and associated arrangements, aligning with current best practices and the recognised PLAN – DO – CHECK – ACT management cycle.
