British Safety Council has today published its Impact Report 2026, showcasing and celebrating its achievements in 2025 - a year which saw it train a record number of people, support over 13,000 of the most vulnerable workers in India, and present over 850 awards to organisations around the world.
The report captures key accomplishments from 2025 and powerful stories about those directly impacted by British Safety Council’s charitable work, its partnerships, and its mission to ensure no one is injured or made ill through their work.
From training 13,730 learners in 107 countries, to supporting SMEs, influencing policy and shaping wellbeing, British Safety Council drove measurable and human-centred outcomes focused on ensuring that workers of the world are safer, healthier and thriving.

Highlights from British Safety Council’s Impact Report include:
- Education and training programmes delivered across the UK, India, the Middle East, the USA, throughout Europe and South Asia
- International Safety Awards rewarding impact in action, recognising companies committed to safe working practices in nearly 50 countries
- Policy work brought impact to life, ensuring that worker health, safety and wellbeing remains firmly on the agenda for employers and policymakers
- Mental health awareness turned into action through funding initiatives, training leaders, and building strategies that deliver long-term impact for working people
- From podcasts to practical guides, British Safety Council delivered digital content, putting expert insight into the hands of those driving real-world impact
- Putting impact into action across borders, delivering free training, support, and opportunity in India, to protect the lives of the world’s most vulnerable workers.
The report also includes a summary of the achievements of its sister charity Mates in Mind, which works in partnership with UK employers across construction, transport and logistics, fire and security, farming and agriculture and other higher risk sectors, to build positive mental health in and through work.
