Working at Height
Course information
Working at Height is one of several short courses that is included for FREE with a British Safety Council Membership. You will receive 100 e-learning licenses each year.
Course overview
This course raises awareness of how to reduce the risks of working at height. It covers the common causes of falls from height, how risks can be controlled, considerations for common equipment and how to safely carry out a work at height task.
Learning outcomes
On completion, learners will be able to:
- Understand the Work at Height Regulations.
- The risk factors of working at height.
- Explain how the risks of working at height can be effectively controlled.
Who is this course for
- Employees who work or may occasionally work at height.
- New starters or contractors who need a basic understanding of the risks and safety principles.
- Managers or office staff who need general awareness but don’t directly carry out work at height.
- Anyone in an organisation who may enter areas where work at height is being undertaken, even if they’re not performing the task themselves.
