Promotion Terms & Conditions

1. General

1.1 These Promotions Terms and Conditions are supplemented by our Terms and Conditions of Website Use and our Privacy Policy and they are binding upon you.

1.2 From time to time on www.britsafe.org (the “Website”) we run promotions.

1.3 Only one promotion can be used per order, unless otherwise stated. A promotion may not be used in combination with other promotions or used to collect reward points except where specified.

1.4 Promotional codes can only be used for the purchase of specific products and within the stated validity period.

1.5 Excluded products will not count towards any qualifying conditions for offers and will not benefit from any promotional discount.

1.6 All promotions are subject to availability. We reserve the right to end a promotion at any time.

1.7 We shall not be liable for any financial loss arising out of the refusal, cancellation or withdrawal of any promotion or any failure or inability of a customer to take advantage of a promotion for any reason.

1.8 Discounts relating to British Safety Council Membership only apply to new customers, and not to existing or renewing customers, unless otherwise stated.

2. Vouchers

2.1 Vouchers or web-coupon codes are subject to these Terms and Conditions and any terms and conditions notified to you at the time of issuance of the web-coupon code.

2.2 A web-coupon code is redeemed by entering its code at the appropriate point in the purchase process on the Website.

2.3 We reserve the right to withdraw or cancel a web-coupon code for any reason at any time.

2.4 Web-coupon codes cannot be exchanged for cash.

2.5 Unless expressly stated at the time of issue, each web-coupon code will be valid for use by the recipient of the web-coupon code and by such recipient only once and may not be used in conjunction with any other promotion.

2.6 In accordance with guidelines from HM Revenue and Customs, a web-coupon code is treated as cash, therefore VAT is due on the full value of an order and you will be required to pay VAT on the full value of the order, unless otherwise stated in any terms accompanying the web-coupon code.

2.7 Web-coupon code may only be used at the Website.

2.8 From time to time certain products may be excluded from web-coupon code offers and any such exclusion will be notified to you along with the web-coupon code or through the Website.

2.9 Web-coupon code may be limited to redemption in respect of certain products or certain products may be excluded from the ambit of use of the web-coupon code, in which case notice will be given to you at the time of issue of the web-coupon code.

2.10 Excluded goods and services will not count towards any qualifying conditions for offers and will not benefit from any promotional discount.

2.11 No web-coupon code may be copied, reproduced, distributed, or published directly or indirectly in any form or by any means for use by an entity other than the original recipient, without our prior written permission.

2.12 When you use an web-coupon code you warrant to us that you are the duly authorised recipient of the web-coupon and that you are using it in good faith.

2.13 If you redeem, attempt to redeem or encourage the redemption of web-coupon code to obtain discounts to which you or a third party are not entitled you may be committing a civil or criminal offence.

2.14 If we reasonably believe that any web-coupon code is being used unlawfully or illegally we may reject or cancel any web-coupon code and you agree that you will have no claim against us in respect of any rejection or cancellation. We reserve the right to take any further action it deems appropriate in such instances.

3. Current offers

3.1 Membership: new member: discount offer 20% applies to 3 year Membership UK or international - and excludes customers who are already members or renewing within 6 months of previous contract expiration. Web-coupon code valid until 31 May 2024.

3.2 Events: discount offer for Members on International Safety Awards Gala Dinner. Available to Members only. Discount valid until 6 June 2024.

3.3 Events: web-coupon code: specific customer: discount offer 50% applies to International Safety Awards Gala dinner tickets ( specific products) - open to specific customers. Web-coupon code valid until 30 April 2024.
