We held a meeting of our Manufacturing, Distribution and Logistics SIG on Tuesday 1 July, which was hosted and chaired by JCB at their World HQ in Staffordshire. The day included a tour of the JCB story and impressive visitor centre, as well as sessions on psychosocial risk and stress, led by British Safety Council Director of Wellbeing, Stephen Haynes, and a legal update from Chris Green, Partner at Keoghs. The SIG also discussed latest developments in health, safety and wellbeing in the sector, and considered what it would focus on in future meetings. The next meeting is due to be held around November / December.
