Peter is a qualified ACMA accountant and has worked in a wide range of industries including distribution, sewage treatment equipment and printing and now with MIT.
Peter joined MIT in 2009 because of the enthusiasm that was evident around the business and the desire of the Shareholders and the Board to develop the Company.
MIT are suppliers and service agents for a wide range of drivetrain equipment for the marine, industrial and off-highway markets.
His remit at MIT is broad and covers Finance, HR, Health & Safety, Sustainability, IT and Accreditations along with working closely with the team of directors and managers to further develop and enhance the entire company.
Wellbeing, whilst being a subject matter all on its own, comes under both the HR and H&S umbrellas.
MIT started working with the British Safety Council in 2021 to develop their Wellbeing Strategy and coordinate staff surveys specifically related to Wellbeing.
