Dear Customer of the British Safety Council,
In light of recent military developments affecting the Gulf region, I wanted to write to our members and customers across the Middle East and update you with our actions and offer our support to you in these challenging times. Your safety, security and wellbeing are our utmost priority.
We recognise that this is an unsettling time, one that creates uncertainty, anxiety, and concern for loved ones, businesses, and communities. Many of you may be navigating rapidly changing local conditions, heightened security measures, travel disruptions, or emotional strain. Please know that you are not alone — and that we are here to support you.
Our immediate focus is on the safety and wellbeing of our colleagues, members and others who are affected across the region.
The action we have taken is to follow the controls within our own travel risk assessments and official guidance being issued by authorities within the region. We urge you to follow the official guidance issued by your government or interior ministry.
British Safety Council staff in UAE are following government security and travel guidelines to ensure they remain as safe as possible.
We will continue to actively monitor the situation and any potential impact on our members, customers and colleagues in the region. We will do our best to keep you informed of any impact it may have upon the service you receive from British Safety Council.
If you have concerns — operational, personal, or otherwise, please reach out to us directly. Even if you are unsure whether we can assist, we want to hear from you. Our offices here in the UK and India will remain open to provide you with a line of communication and support where needed. Please email [email protected] or phone +91 2241437969 (India) or +44 (0)20 3510 8355 (UK).
We stand with you and remain ready to support you in every way we can.
With sincere regards,
Peter McGetterick
Chairman of British Safety Council
