Benefits of the IOSH Managing Safely course
On successful completion of the assessment, delegates will be awarded a certificate from the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) – a nationally recognised and respected industry body. At the end of the training participants will understand:
- Why is it important to manage safely
- Why investigate accidents and incidents
- How does human failure contribute to the cause of accidents
- What is a risk assessment
- How to recognise and manage common hazards
An IOSH Working Safely or Managing Safely certificate is valid for life. However, it is recommended that those holding a Managing Safely certificate should undertake a refresher course within three years of completing their training. Learning with the British Safety Council enables students to benefit from our wealth of experience acquired over 60 years. During this time, we’ve educated people all over the world and have developed expert teaching methods to ensure a first-class learning experience.
