British Safety Council’s Keep Thriving: Future of Workplace Wellbeing survey was conducted among 4017 employers and employees across Great Britain to better understand workplace wellbeing.
Commissioned by British Safety Council from market research group YouGov, the data was collected from 2009 employers and 2008 employees spanning all sectors of the economy and from all nations and regions of Great Britain.
We know that there is a huge gap between best and worst wellbeing practice, leading to a postcode lottery of support that risks leaving employees without the support they need to thrive, both inside and outside of work.
Our survey showed some significant differences in the way employees and their employers view workplace wellbeing and what is needed to support it. The survey also asked employees to rate their overall wellbeing both in and out of work, and how important wellbeing is to employers.
We asked about access to wellbeing support and what policy changes or interventions would make the biggest difference to improving workplace wellbeing.
