Course overview
This Legionella awareness course introduces Legionella and its impact on health. It outlines the legal responsibilities around Legionella control and explains how guidance such as ACoP L8 and HSG274 supports compliance. Participants will learn to recognise typical systems where risks may arise, understand the principles of effective control measures, and appreciate the importance of ongoing monitoring and review of water systems.
