Learning outcomes
This self-paced Certificate in Display Screen Equipment (DSE) Risk Assessment provides learners with a strong foundation in risk assessment and the confidence to contribute effectively to the risk assessment process.
The course raises awareness of how to carry out a suitable and sufficient DSE risk assessment, covering the five steps of risk assessment and how to identify, evaluate, and reduce risks associated with DSE workstations. It is also suitable as a refresher for responsible persons who already have DSE duties.
On completion of the course, learners will be able to:
- Understand the importance of DSE risk assessments
- Understand the principles of controlling risks associated with DSE workstations
- Understand how a DSE risk assessment is undertaken in practice.

Assessment and results
At the end of the course you will need to complete a multiple-choice assessment and an interactive risk assessment activity, which will test your knowledge and understanding of a DSE risk assessment.
