NEW British Safety Council Guidance
We have developed a detailed general return to work guide across all sectors. The framework should enable organisations around the world to develop robust protocols and arrangements, designed to effectively manage the risk of transmission of COVID-19 as far as is reasonably possible within their workplace.
Our posters remind workers to follow good health, safety and wellbeing practices during the Covid-19 outbreak. The posters encourage staff to walk or cycle to work to maintain social distancing and to help keep themselves healthy; and to set up their home computer workstation correctly. If you have children, ask them to colour the posters in and tweet them to us @BritSafe.
Become a supporter
We are inviting small organisations (50 employees or less), supporting the effort to tackle coronavirus, to join our network of like minded individuals who share our vision that no one should be injured or made ill through their work. We understand that during these trying times, small organisations might need a little extra help and this is where we can step in. Become a supporter now!

COVID-19: Managing the workplace – a practical perspective
Listen to the recording of our recent webinar covering the COVID-19 pandemic crisis which continues to present all business sectors with severe immediate challenges both commercially, legally and ethically.
A range of topics are discussed including the requirements for key sector organisations to ensuring social distancing during operational activities, the statutory requirements for premises which are closed during the restrictions and the legal, moral and practical issues relating to temporary homeworking.
Mental Health resources
We work proudly in partnership with Mates in Mind to address mental wellbeing in the workplace. Connection and communication with our colleagues, especially in times of stress and anxiety is extremely important. By providing support in small ways employers can help their employees cope with the current situation, reduce anxiety and stress, and keep them focused on their work.
It is crucial to support the mental health of yourself and your employees whilst home working.
It's important to establish long distance management practices to support the health and wellbeing of your people.
