At a training centre
The morning comprises a scenario-based exercise. Students are directors of a fictitious organisation where there has been a fatal accident. They discover the consequences of the accident for the organisation and for them as individual directors.
The afternoon focuses on health and safety leadership in the context of the students’ own businesses. The focus is on ways in which they can demonstrate visible, felt leadership in relation to health and safety. Students also examine the leadership requirements of ISO 45001.
By the end of the exercise, students will understand the legal duties placed on individuals and organisations, the consequences of failing to manage health and safety, and the positive impact that good health and safety can have on the bottom line.
Our well-equipped training centres allow you to get away from the distractions of the workplace and focus on director-level health and safety for the day. Courses are held throughout the year in London, Birmingham and Manchester.
Why a training centre?
Free from workplace distractions
Facilitation by an expert tutor
Opportunity to network with other directors.
