Requirements:

There are no entry requirements for this certificate, however it is important that learners have a suitable standard of English language in order to understand and articulate the concepts contained in the course.

Modules

The course is arranged into seven modules

• Introducing managing safely
• Understanding your responsibilities
• Identifying hazards
• Assessing risks
• Controlling risks
• Investigating accidents and incidents
• Measuring performance.

Assessments

Regardless of your chosen route of study, you will have the option to complete all your assessments online - receiving instant results and feedback. We are the only organisation that offers this innovative approach to your studies.

To achieve your IOSH Managing safely certificate you must complete two assessments:

• An online 30 multi-format questionnaire.
• A work-based risk assessment task. We will provide you with a workplace scenarios to base your assessment on. So, if you are working at home or have no access to a workplace, we can help you turn the knowledge you have learned and apply it in a practical working environment

Whether you are studying digital, virtual classroom or in a physical classroom, you will have the option to complete online at no extra cost.

Results

• You will receive your results instantly when completing your assessments online.
• You will receive your certificate parchment within 8 weeks of the successful completion of your online assessment.

Course level

IOSH Managing Safely is a level 2 course. Whilst no prior knowledge of health and safety is required, it is recommended that students have a good standard of English.

Once completed, our students often continue their studies by completing a NEBOSH International General Certificate to broaden their knowledge further

• Contribute to group discussions in a positive manner
• Endeavour to be active, rather than passive in terms of learning
• Complete the required number of revision hours
• Pay particular attention to advice regarding revision and examination technique
• Bring any learning difficulties to our attention at the earliest opportunity
