Food handlers must therefore do everything they can to keep food safe and protect customers from ill health and injury.

What does it cover?
This qualification is designed to give food handlers the understanding of how to take personal responsibility for food hygiene and safety, the correct procedures for maintaining a hygienic work environment and on how to identify and control common risks to food safety such as temperature, cross-contamination and pests.
