NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety (Conversion course for holders of NGC1 and NGC2)

The NEBOSH Construction Certificate is aimed at managers and supervisors who are required to ensure that construction activities under their control are undertaken safely and without risk to health. This conversion course is for students who have completed units NGC1 and GC2 of the NEBOSH National General Certificate. It allows them to obtain the Construction Certificate with one week’s study, one examination and a workplace-based assignment.

Holders of the Construction Certificate can apply for technical membership of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (Tech IOSH). Many students then progress to the NEBOSH National Diploma (Grad IOSH) and from there to chartered status (CMIOSH).
