Join us at our upcoming workshops to review the forthcoming international health and safety management standard and discuss how to prepare for the transition from OHSAS 18001 certification.
ISO 45001 launch delayed
The recent ballot of the ISO/PC283 committee narrowly failed to reach the required threshold for progression of the DIS ISO 45001 to publication. A subsequent full committee meeting has determined that a revised version (DIS ISO 45001 2) will be developed for approval.

The revised draft standard is expected to be developed during a plenary meeting in October this year, with issue and consultation period commencing in February 2017. Read more.

Dave Parr, Head of Audit and Technical Services at the British Safety Council said; "The delay in publication should not deter organisations from preparing to transition to the new standard, as the general framework and much of the content from the current DIS version will remain."

Dave Parr will be hosting a ISO 45001 transition workshop to bring you up-to-date with the latest developments.
