We are now looking to recruit an enthusiastic Growth Development Manager to prospect for new supporters, associated products and services by networking, cold calling, advertising or other means of generating interest from potential clients. The ideal candidate must plan persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential clients to become a Supporter, Business Champion or Partner for Mates in Mind.
You must develop a rapport with new supporters, set targets and provide support that will continually improve the relationship. You are also required to grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services to clients. As Growth Development Manager, you will be expected to work mostly with mid and senior level management, HR, and Health and Safety staff.
You will work closely with the Mates in Mind Managing Director, General Manager, Director of Strategy and Head of Programme to develop growth for the company. Strategic planning is vital as it is the Growth Development Manager’s responsibility to develop the pipeline of new business coming into Mates in Mind. This requires a thorough knowledge of the market, the solutions/services that Mates in Mind can provide, and our competitors.
A strong knowledge of mental health at work, combined with health and safety management, would be a distinct advantage, as would an understanding of the construction or transport industry. This role will demand an entrepreneurial and engaging individual who is passionate to work alongside others to make a positive difference.
This role will report directly to the Mates in Mind Managing Director.
