Becoming a Registered Course Provider of Level 2 Certificate Risk Assessments

A registered course provider is an organisation registered with the BSC to deliver training leading to a nationally-recognised Level 2 qualification.

Key Benefit

Allows organisations to deliver in-house training using learning materials supplied by the BSC and then book workplace-based assessments which lead to a nationally-recognised qualification.

How it Works

  1. Organisation registers with the BSC for a fee of £495 + VAT (BSC Members) and £595 + VAT (non-BSC Members) with an annual renewal fee of £100 + VAT.
  2. The BSC provides photocopiable student handouts, Powerpoint slides and lesson plans.
  3. Organisation prepares its candidates for the assessment (the course can be delivered in one day).
  4. Organisation books workplace-based assessments with the BSC. Assessment fee £30 per candidate (+VAT).
  5. Candidates complete structured workplace-based assessment task in their own time.
  6. Candidates submit assessment task to BSC awards for marking by an external examiner.
  7. The BSC issues results and qualification certificates within ten working days.
