Level 2 Certificate in Risk Assessment

The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 require employers to conduct suitable and sufficient risk assessments.

The Level 2 Certificate in Risk Assessment provides formal recognition of an individual's ability to undertake such a risk assessment.

Accredited by the Qualifications and Curriculum Examinations Regulator (Ofqual) at Level 2 in the National Qualifications Framework.

Assessment is via a workplace-based risk assessment task which is delivered electronically to candidates.

The pass rate for this qualification is currently 85%.

Employers may either arrange a public or in-company training course with the BSC or apply to become a Registered Course Provider themselves.
