The NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety is a globally recognised health and safety qualification specifically for the construction industry. It places great emphasis on construction safety issues that make this industry one of the most dangerous to work in.

The course is designed for supervisors or managers within the construction industry and those required to provide health and safety advice on a day to day basis. It provides candidates with the essential knowledge required to enable them to take an active part in the management of health and safety in their workplace and the best way to integrate risk management into daily operations and monitor it effectively. The course is also referred to as a key knowledge indicator for CDM co-ordinators within the Approved Code of Practice (ACoP) for the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007.

The NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety is awarded to successful candidates after a 15 day course designed to build a solid academic knowledge of occupational health and safety within the construction industry.

If you have already passed NGC1 in the last 5 years on your way to the NEBOSH National General Certificate, you can miss the first week of this qualification (comprising of NGC1) and complete the NEBOSH National Construction Certificate in just 10 days.
