Safety in the Construction Industry Conference

This British Safety Council conference focused on health and safety in the construction industry. The construction industry, which is vital to the country's economic well-being, is still grappling with the task of preventing injury and ill-health and creating a safe and healthy working environment. The number of fatalities, injuries and occurrences of ill-health remains a major concern to employers, workers, Government, the regulator and the BSC. However there are positive signs of improvement and impressive examples of the benefits top level leadership and worker involvement bring.
